BENCHMARK SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR ORPHANS (BESPO)

Home » BENCHMARK SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR ORPHANS (BESPO)

This program has been designed by Benchmark Evening School to give support to underprivileged and deserving orphans. This support is equally solicited from and opened to the benevolence of the general public and particularly from those who wish to direct their charity to the alleviation of poverty and illiteracy among orphans.

In the context of this program, Benchmark intends to consider ‘support’ and ‘underprivileged and deserving orphans’ as follows;

1. Support;

  • Benchmark is offering a four (4) year free education to underprivileged and deserving orphans who upon filling out an orphan application form for free education obtainable at the office of Benchmark, are confirmed deserving orphans
  • Because our support is not limited to school fee exemption, Benchmark shall seek to make a smart inventory of the social and economic needs of the orphans to enable us be perceptive to their needs and offer sustainable assistance (school needs in every sense of the word) for the four year period. This is in the hope that one of the ways to attain the objective of free education is by knowing the learner.

2. Underprivileged and deserving orphans;

For the purpose of this program, we consider an underprivileged and deserving orphan as one whom;

  • Is less than 22 years old?
  • Has lost both parents
  • Is willing to pursue education at Benchmark Evening School.
  • Whose application for free education has been granted by the office of Benchmark?
